Learn the veteran-founded story behind BlueEagle CLP firearm care products.
The founder’s reason was practical.
Daniel Straasburg, a 20+ year U.S. Army veteran and law-enforcement officer, wanted a better way to care for the firearms he considered investments. In 2008, he and a partner began developing a cleaner that could remove buildup without the harsh smell, slippery residue, or collection of separate chemicals common to old routines.
BlueEagle CLP brings biobased cleaning ingredients together with aerospace-synthetic lubrication. The goal is simple: make regular maintenance feel cleaner, easier, and more dependable.

CLP uses forestry and citrus-based cleaning materials and is published as +50% biobased.
Synthetic lubrication
The formula uses a pure synthetic lubricant designed for durable performance.
